Rockview Camp Cottage Resort - great fishing year round

We are located in the South Bay of Lake Nipissing, which is famous for its pickerel, pike, perch, bass, herring (cisco), muskie and whitefish. Please click on the species to learn more about catching methods and bait used for that particular fish species.

Fishing in the South Bay is particularly great in spring and fall. During the summer months you will fish the open lake which you can reach by boat in only a couple of minutes.

Please note: According to Canadian law everyone needs a Canadian Coast Guard Pleasure Craft Operator Card to operate certain types of boats. If you don't have your card yet and wish to rent one of our boats, we suggest that you obtain the card prior to your trip. In spring...

... opening day will be your first memorable fishing experience of the season. Enjoy fishing off one of our bass boats equipped with: fish finder, livewell, running lights, casting platform, swivel seats, side console and 25 / 40 HP motor.
 

In summer ...

... spending your family vacation at Rockview Camp doesn't mean that you will have to do without fishing. Get the whole family interested in your favourite past time by taking them along and let them have a ball, and the experience of catching their first fish. The hot fishing spots are only minutes away.
 

In fall ...

... you may go fishing even on a windy day since we are located in one of the most sheltered places on Lake Nipissing's South Bay - an island paradise. And why not combine your fishing trip with some fantastic golfing? Several golf courses can be found within a 20 minute drive from Rockview Camp Cottage Resort.
